Employers.

Honestly, I don't really know who exactly is gonna be reading this but I needed a bit of a vent.

I've lost count as to how many jobs I've actually applied for over the last few months and not one reply from any employers.

If I took the time to either travel into the shop/office and hand in my CV or fill in a long application online, then I'd expect a little bit of courtesy from them by sending me a quick email or a quick call telling me that I didn't get the job.

It's extremely frustrating trying to find a job and it doesn't help when you hear nothing back from anybody.

At least if I heard something back I'd know that they actually took an interest in my CV/Application instead of just tossing it aside as I expect a lot of employers might do.

On another note and I'm sure most job seekers will agree with me that when searching for a job and the words "experience necessary" pop up, you can't help but feel a bit pissed off.

It's a vicious circle really. How am I to gain experience if you won't hire me to gain said experience? It's extremely annoying and doesn't really leave much hope to be honest.

If employers and the currrent shower in Government used their heads they could easily reduce the number of people who currently get the job seekers allowance every week.

In my opinion employers should hire people on a six month contract with half the pay. After six months when the person is trained in the employer can then say, "Ok, yes you were a good investment" and then bump them up to the full pay.

Could be worth a try.
